| Three views of an incomplete model of a Midland 1F by Nigel Cliffe. The motor is an 8mm diameter coreless 'Minimotor'. Since photographing, the smokebox, steps and front buffers have been straightened (!) and cab detail and brake gear added. Safety valves and paint still need to be added. The locomotive will move a handful of wagons, just like the prototype! |
