The 2mm Scale Association exists to promote and facilitate modelling at the scales around 2mm:1ft. This encompasses 2mmFS (2mm/ft, 1:152), finer scale UK N-gauge models (1:148) and finer scale US/European models (1:160). The scale has a long history as the smallest practical finescale standard.

By joining the Association, members gain access to a wealth of knowledge and our exclusive component range designed to enable simple and accurate construction.

Our extensive component ranges include jigs and alignment tools which remove the guesswork and need for specialist measuring equipment from precision model making. We also produce booklets which explain the construction techniques which have been developed over the years.

To keep our members in touch we produce a bi-monthly magazine and newsletter. We offer an online Virtual Area Group where members can chat about anything pertinent to 2mm model making. Our Area Groups' meetings offer practical experience of 2mm modelling and a chance to meet other members. Our Publicity Stand is often in attendance at public model railway exhibitions to promote and demonstrate 2mm scale modelling. Our annual public Expo-2mm showcases 2mm Finescale layouts, demonstrations of 2mm modelling techniques and specialist traders, and usually includes the annual Model Competition. Members can also join in our online AGM each Autumn.
