IMPORTANT - DUTY ON ORDERS TO USA

  • Following changes to import procedures in the USA, we must now pay duty and handling fees to our postal carrier, Royal Mail, before we can dispatch orders to members.
  • See Royal Mail for more information.
  • The duty rate has been set at 10% of the value of the order and the handling fee will initially be 50p. Publications will not incur a duty charge but will be subject to the 50p handling fee. This will be added to the invoice sent to you for payment. These rates are, of course, subject to change at the behest of US authorities and postal carriers.
  • Additionally, members MUST provide a valid email address and telephone number with their order. If these are not provided, your order will not be processed.
  • US members will still be eligible for the standard postage rates as detailed below.


POSTAGE CHARGES

The following rates apply to shop purchases:
  • UK - Post Free for orders of 25 or more. Postage charge of 2.00 for smaller orders.
  • Europe - Post Free for orders of 35 or more. Postage charge of 3.00 for smaller orders.
  • Rest of World - Post Free for orders of 50 or more. Postage charge of 5.00 for smaller orders.

Important: Your order will be dispatched at the earliest opportunity by a shopkeeper. Please bear in mind that they are volunteers and their response may not be instantaneous.

  • 3-0302 - Farish Drop In Wheelset: 6.0mm Wheel: 16t Geared Axle

This has been identified as a valid combination of wheel size and gear for a small batch of the GWR railcars probably early Chinese production. Other models may use this combination, but have yet to be identified. See shop listings for more details of the product.

Central Shop

The Association's Central Shop carries most of the items in the mail order shops but is available for face-to-face sales. It is generally available for the benefit of members at Association events; Expos, Workshops, selected Area Events etc.

Other Products

The "small suppliers" page lists products which are not part of the Association's Shop arrangements. This includes CAD files for sharing, and access to the old Etched Pixels and Ultima ranges of etched parts, plus other independent specialist suppliers.
